Matthew Kiddle

I’ve been running on trails for four years or so and got the bug for long races when I ran my first 100k in 2014.  Since then I have run all over the UK in the most spectacular locations.

I write the odd race report on my blog which you can find here.

I love being in the mountains and trail running is another great way to see the wild places we love. I also love the camaraderie of my fellow runners out on the trail which is part of what makes our sport so special.

I live in York so I can often be found on my local trails in the North York Moors.

Ultra History

I have loved racing with the Hardmoors clan close to home and have a few hundred milers under my belt now. The highlight though has to be an epic adventure at UTMB 2017. A finishers buzz to last a lifetime.

Why whw?

I am looking for a new challenge and this race has been on my list since I first learned of it right at the start of my trail running adventures. It is a classic race with lots of history and it will be so exciting to race in the Scottish mountains, a place which is already very special to me.

Aim for the race?
