Every year we continue to evolve the race in response to feedback from runners, crews, volunteers, partners and the communities we pass through.

For 2027 we are introducing a few changes

• A support crew is no longer mandatory (but we do encourage you to make use of one)
• We will maintain a waiting list until the end of March for runners who were unsuccessful in the ballot
• We have introduced a more generous refund policy (details available on SI Entries)
• The 2027 race will start at midnight not 1am
