There are a number of of changes to the race for 2026. These will be communicated to all runners by email over the coming weeks.

Checkpoints

For 2026 the following changes have been made:

Bogle Glen/A82 road crossing: We will provide a water station in this area providing water and coke

Beinglas farm
The checkpoint location will be on the way in to the farm site instead of the usual location on the way out which has been used in previous years

Auchtertyre
There will be no checkpoint at Auchtertyre.

Tyndrum
The main checkpoint will be at Tyndrum where we will have use of both Muthu hotel car parks. The cut off at Tyndrum will be 16 hours race time or 17:00 time of day. No support runners will be allowed for runners leaving Tyndrum before midday

Bridge of Orchy
The checkpoint will now be in the Bridge of Orchy community hall (the old fire station) on the way down hill to the road crossing. Crew cars will not be allowed to turn up towards the station and must park in the Sport Scotland car park or over the bridge in the Forestry Land Scotland car park where the race checkpoint used to be.
