I’m a doctor specialising in elderly care and have 2 children. I’m originally from Edinburgh but have lived in or around Newcastle for many years.
I started running about 9 years ago and did my first ultra – a 50K in Kielder in 2016. Since then I’ve become hooked on them and have completed amongst others The Wall, Jedburgh, the Fling and most recently the Fellsman,
Why the west highland way?
The history and atmosphere of the race is a real draw and the opportunity to run through the most amazing landscape in Scotland- what more could you ask for?
Aim for the race
This is my first attempt so finishing is the number 1 aim. Coming in around 24 hours would be fantastic.
