To support runners who have a race place but wish to withdraw because of pregancy or adoption, the West Highland Way Race will offer the following:
Full refund (less SI Entries admin fee) at any time prior to race
Guaranteed entry (subject to meeting qualifying standards) for up to 5 years
We will offer this to
- Women who become pregnant between ballot and race day
- Parents by adoption of children under five years old with an adoption date on or within the 6-month period prior to race day
- Partners to women giving birth with a due date on or within the 2-month period prior to race day or up to 2-months after race day
To request a refund and deferred entry under this policy runners should send an email in the first instance to the Race Director race@westhighlandwayrace.org.
Please note that suitable proof of pregnancy/adoption will be required at the Race Director’s discretion
