We are pleased to announce that the 2022 Altra West Highland Way Race will be an official qualifying race for the 2023 Western States 100. To qualify for Western States runners must complete the West Highland Way in under 30 hours.

We are also pleased to confirm that 2022 Altra West Highland Way Race will be a UTMB World Series Qualifying race in the 100M Category. UTMB has a new system for qualification from 2022 onwards which is different from the familiar points based criteria.
