Bio
I’ll be 58 in June and work as an Active Schools Coordinator for Glasgow City Council. I’m married to Katrina and we have four daughters, three son-in-laws, three grandsons and another grandchild on the way!
Ultra History
I started running ultras in 2007 and have now completed 39 including the West Highland Way six times, Lakeland 100 twice, Hardmoors 110 twice and the Hardmoors 160. You can read all about them on my blog if you so wish!!
Why West Highland Way?
I would like to run at least ten eventually so this will be number seven on the way. I also have places in the Highland Fling and the Devil o’ the Highlands so I’m aiming for my third unofficial ‘Triple Crown’
Aim for the race?
I fear my sub 20hr times are behind me but I would love to get close to my 2013 time of 21:26. I’ll soon find out. I’m really looking forward to being back on the route after a break of a few years. There is nowhere like the West Highland Way!
