Bio

I’ll be 43 on race day. Originally from Los Angeles, I now live in Boston, MA with my husband and our two crazy pups (who love to run!). I spend most of my working time at a computer, so take any chance I get to run, do yoga, hike or walk.

Ultra History

I ran my first ultra in 2013 – a 50k that started with ankle deep mud.  It was tough but I was instantly hooked. Since then I’ve ran dozens of 50ks, a few 50 milers, a 100k, the WHW, two 100s and made my first 200 miler attempt in 2016 (I’m going back this year to finish!).

Why whw?

In 2014, my husband and I spent a week driving all over Scotland and I just couldn’t get the incredible scenery out of my head. Luckily, as I was trying to plan out my 2015 race calendar I found the WHW.  I’m coming back in 2017 to beat my 2015 finish and see some of the amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet through the WHW family.

Aim for the race?

29 hours would be great. I’d also like to skip a repeat of 2015’s complete emotional breakdown along Loch Lomond; miles 20-30 were nothing but crying and planning how to DNF (including what pub I’d hit first).
